It gripping, exciting and very emotional. The battles are cool too, but it's the characters that raise this series to a high level. Hell, even the antagonists are extremely well developed. Another thing this show and Kazuhiro does really well is redemption.
Former antagonists can join the protagonists, but their past action are not forgotten nor forgiven. And a special mention for the true antagonist: the man who was cucked to death. By technically the same woman. No wonder he wanted to destroy the world. Still, this was by far the most petty villain I've seen in a long time.
As for the protagonists, Narumi is such a good guy. Like, the best boy ever. Masaru develops from a weak crybaby to being able to stand by Narumi's side. And Shirogane is like You really want to see them all happy. Special mention for the sountrack: goddamn is it good.
